Finding a product There are three ways of searching for a product:
Browse our catalogue by product type. When you click on the 'Products by Type' link on the left hand side, you will be taken to a listing of our product offering arranged by type (i.e. Remote Controls, Connecting Leads etc). Click on the relevant category in this list to find the product you're after. Similarly, if you know the manufacturer or brand name of the product you require, you can click on the 'Products by Make' link on the left hand side. This will present you with a list of all the manufacturers that supply us. On every page of this site you will find a keyword search facility on the left hand side. If you know the model number of the product you are looking for, you can enter it in the search box and click 'Go' to be taken to straight to that product. If you are not sure of the product that you want but know some basic information, you can enter it here and, if we have anything that matches your criteria, we will list it for you. Example keywords that you might try could be 'scart plug' or 'tv remote control' If you still can not find the product that you are looking for or if you are not sure what product you need, please feel free to Ask Chad, our technical advisor who will be glad to help you.
Choosing the right product If you are not sure what product you need, be it a connecting lead, adaptor or whatever, or if you need more technical information on a product before deciding to purchase, we have an online Buyers Guide. You can locate the link for the Buyers Guide on the left hand side of each page. We are constantly adding information to the Buyers Guide to make shopping for the right product even easier. However, if the information you need is not there, please feel free to Ask Chad. Chad is our technical advisor who will answer your questions via email - usually within 2 working days.
Adding items to your order When you have found the item that you want, simply enter the quantity required in the box provided next to each product and then click the 'Add to Cart' button. You will briefly see a page that details the items that you have added to your online shopping cart before being taken back to the product page.
At this stage you can choose to continue browsing the shop or you can complete your order by clicking the 'Checkout' button. There are two Checkout buttons, one at the top and one on the left hand side of each page.
Modifying the contents of your order On the left hand side of every page you will see a summary of the contents of your shopping cart. The number of items and total value of the contents of your cart are given. You can view the contents of your shopping cart in more detail by clicking on either of the shopping cart links (one on the left and one at the top of each page).
When viewing the contents of your cart, you can remove an item by ticking the 'Remove' box and then clicking the 'Update' button. You can also adjust the quantity of a particular item by modifying the figure in the quantity column and then clicking the 'Update' button.
When you modify the contents of the shopping cart, the value of the items will be recalculated and redisplayed to you.
To continue browsing for other products, click the 'Continue Shopping' button to be taken back to the last product page you visited, or click one of the other buttons on the left of the page.
To proceed to the checkout and place your order, click on the 'To Checkout' button.
Completing your order Click the checkout button at the top of the page (or the 'To Checkout' button on the shopping cart summary page) to be taken to the checkout. During the checkout phase you will be asked for information (such as your name and address) that we need to process your order. Some of the information that we ask for is optional, but other information is mandatory if we are to be able to process your order. Mandatory information is marked in red.
Paying for your order Once we have gathered all of the required information, you will be taken to a secure web page where we ask for your credit or debit card details. We accept all major credit/debit cards including Mastercard, Visa, Delta, Switch and Solo. Sorry, but we can not accept American Express or Visa Electron. Our system will authorise and take payment from your credit or debit card (your monthly card statement will show the payee as being WP-accessorystore.co.uk).
After submitting your payment details you will be taken to a page that confirms your order. The items you have ordered, along with your address and delivery address (if different) and the amount that you will be charged, will be shown.
The same information is sent to you in an email confirmation provided you supplied us with a valid email address during the checkout. If you do not see the order confirmation or receive your email confirmation, please let us know by sending an email to sales@accessorystore.co.uk
Delivery of your order If the items you have ordered are in stock, we will post them to you using Royal Mail first class recorded delivery. Goods are usually sent on the next working day. We charge the following for delivery:
UK orders - Our normal delivery costs are £4.99, but this is dependent on the quantity & weight of your order.
For countries in the European Union - Please contact us, as shipping costs vary from country to country & are very much based on the weight of your order.
Delivery charges where appropriate will be added to your shopping cart as you proceed through the checkout.
We do try to ensure that we have good stock availability of all products. However, some goods may sell faster than we predict. If the item you have ordered is not in stock, we will do our best to get it for you as quickly as possible. If there is a prolonged delay in getting the items you have ordered, we will advise you by email and give you the choice to cancel the order or wait for the goods to become available. In the event of cancelling your order we will refund your credit or debit card.
After sales care In the event of you having a complaint or problem with any aspect of our service or the products we offer, please let us know by email. We take all complaints extremely seriously and we will try to rectify any problem quickly and effectively. Our Customer service representatives are available between 9:00 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. (GMT) Monday - Friday.
All complaints will be acknowledged within 2 working days and will be resolved as soon as possible. We will always keep you informed throughout the process of resolving your complaint and we will keep the details of your complaint confidential.
We always welcome feedback from our customers and are continually looking at ways to improve our service and product offering.
Privacy We will always treat the information we collect from you as personal and confidential. Your details will only be used to complete orders, provide you with the best possible service and, if you have requested, to enable us to send you information about promotional offers and new products or services. Your personal information will not be passed or sold to any third party or company (unless we are legally obliged to do so) without your permission.
The type of information we will collect about you includes:

Security We want you to shop online with confidence. When you place an order using the AccessoryStore web site, your credit card details are protected from interception because we scramble (or encrypt) the details before they are sent from your computer to ours. We use Worldpay whose computers offer the highest level of encryption commercially available, known as 128-bit SSL encryption, and depending on your browser, you will see a different confirmation that your connection is secure. For the most common browsers, you will see a golden padlock at the foot of the browser.
All transactions are confirmed and authorised by your card issuing bank and, to protect cardholders, we may contact you for additional security purposes should we deem this necessary.
Cookies Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping basket once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if you use the address book, and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option.
